By booking a session or course with Science with Sarah, you agree to the terms below.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Science with Sarah, including summer camps, weekly daytime group sessions, GCSE after-school group sessions, and 1 to 1 tuition.
All bookings are subject to availability. A place is only confirmed once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where payment is made by invoice or bank transfer, payment must be made by the deadline stated on the invoice. Science with Sarah reserves the right to cancel or release any unpaid booking.
All prices are stated in pounds sterling. Any discounts or bundle offers will be made clear at the time of booking or invoice.
Summer camp bookings are for the full course as advertised. If a camp runs across more than one day, booking the camp reserves the student’s place for all dates included in that course. Places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
Weekly daytime sessions are subject to availability. Places may be booked as ongoing or for an agreed block. Science with Sarah will aim to give reasonable notice of any changes to time, venue, or format.
GCSE after-school group sessions are subject to availability. These sessions are taught at an appropriate level for the group as a whole and cannot be tailored in the same way as 1 to 1 tuition.
1 to 1 tuition is booked for the agreed student, day, and time. Sessions may not be transferred to another student without prior agreement. No specific grade or exam result can be guaranteed.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the camp start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before the camp start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the camp start date are non-refundable. If Science with Sarah is able to fill the cancelled place, a full or partial refund may be offered at its discretion. If Science with Sarah cancels a camp, customers will be offered either a full refund or, where appropriate, a transfer to another available camp. Missed camp sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a 1 to 1 session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may still be charged in full. For weekly daytime group sessions and GCSE after-school group sessions, Science with Sarah will aim to be reasonable where advance notice is given. Refunds, credits, or transfers for missed group sessions may be offered at its discretion. Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.
Where the law gives a customer a statutory right to cancel within a cooling off period, nothing in these terms removes that right. However, some bookings for services provided on fixed dates may not qualify for the standard 14 day cancellation right. Customers are encouraged to review all booking details carefully before completing a booking.
If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time unless otherwise agreed. Extra time cannot be guaranteed. Missed sessions are non-refundable.
Students are expected to behave respectfully and safely at all times. Science with Sarah reserves the right to end a session or refuse future bookings where behaviour is unsafe, seriously disruptive, or prevents teaching from continuing.
For online tuition, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide a suitable device, internet access, and a quiet learning environment.
Any worksheets, slides, notes, handouts, or other learning materials provided by Science with Sarah remain the property of Science with Sarah unless stated otherwise. They are for personal educational use only and must not be copied, shared, sold, or published without permission.
Science with Sarah reserves the right to make reasonable changes to session times, dates, venue, delivery method, or course content where necessary. Where a significant change is made, customers will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, communication regarding bookings, attendance, progress, or concerns may be made with a parent or guardian. Science with Sarah reserves the right to contact a parent or guardian directly where necessary.
Science with Sarah will provide services with reasonable care and skill. However, no guarantee is given as to specific academic outcomes, grades, or examination results.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Science with Sarah Privacy Policy.
