Hi, I'm Sarah!
As a fully qualified teacher with 10 years of experience, my passion is making science accessible and engaging for every student. I've worked specifically with the AQA curriculum for my entire career, so I know exactly what is needed to build confidence and achieve the highest grades.
My approach is patient, clear, and always focused on the individual student, even within a group. I believe that with the right guidance and a bit of hard work, every student can unlock their potential. I look forward to helping your child on their GCSE journey!

Our Structured Yearly Plan
Autumn Term (Oct - Dec)
We build a rock-solid foundation by mastering the fundamental concepts of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, ensuring all students are confident with the basics.
Spring Term (Jan - Apr)
We cover the more advanced and challenging topics, focusing on applying knowledge and making crucial links between different areas of the syllabus.
Summer Term (Apr - June)
The focus shifts entirely to intensive exam preparation, working through past papers, mastering 6-mark questions, and perfecting exam technique.
Frequently Asked Questions
Just the basics: a pen and paper for notes, and a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection and access to Zoom.
All lesson resources, including homework, are emailed to you before each session. This allows students to print them out if they prefer. I provide individual written feedback on all submitted homework before the following lesson.
Your child's safety is my top priority. I hold a valid DBS certificate, have completed professional safeguarding training, and enforce a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behaviour. Parents are always welcome to be present during lessons.
Not a problem. You will still receive all the lesson materials and homework. Additionally, all sessions are recorded, so your child can watch the lesson back in their own time and not fall behind.
